About Me

My name is David Bumgarner. I have been in graphic design for over 25 years, specializing in sign design. Growing up in Reno, Nevada, I had my first design job at a large sign company, where I designed a variety of signage, from small, non-illuminated and dimensional signs to large, brightly lit pylon signs. I have worked on them all. After moving to the Seattle area, I continued working in the sign industry while pursuing a degree in animation. As an artist, I decided to branch out on my own to share my knowledge and experience with those who may need my talents. Thank you for taking the time to visit

Punchmallet Studios was created as an outlet to explore my art and expand my talents into new areas. While design and sign design remain the main focus, Punchmallet Studios will branch out into sculptural pieces and other aspects of advertising and animation. Eventually, I would lie to break into entertainment and begin working on short stories.
